About Us

Building the future of girls’ cricket in the Eastern Cape.

The High Performance Girls Cricket Centre (HPGCC) is a registered non-profit organisation dedicated to providing girls between the ages of 13 and 19 in the Eastern Cape with the opportunity to grow and develop as cricketers. Our mission is simple: to create a space where young female players can sharpen their skills, build confidence, and access the same high-performance opportunities that boys have traditionally enjoyed.

Our Purpose

At HPGCC, we believe in more than just cricket. We believe in opening doors for young women, giving them access to quality coaching, structured programs, and the chance to test themselves at higher levels of the game. Through hard work, mentorship, and innovation, we are helping to build pathways that support players on and off the field — whether they’re chasing provincial colours, national representation, or simply becoming stronger, more confident young women.

Our Approach

Coaching Excellence

Every player benefits from structured weekly coaching plans that are tailored to their technical and personal development skills level.

Innovation in Training

From player performance trackers to AI-driven video analysis, we use modern tools to help players reach their full potential.

Individual Focus

Each girl is supported - with personal profiles and development plans, we ensure that every player’s growth is tracked and supported.

Opportunities to Shine

Through fixtures, and specialist programs, our players gain exposure to competitive cricket and specialist coaching.

Why It Matters

Cricket has the power to inspire, unite, and empower. For too long, opportunities for girls have been limited - but that is changing. By nurturing talent, supporting development, and showcasing female role models, HPGCC is helping to shape the future of the women’s game in South Africa.

Follow Us & Be The First To See The Winners

We’re proud of what’s already been achieved, but this is just the beginning. Together with our coaches, players, parents, and supporters, we’re building something bigger than a cricket centre — we’re building a future for girls in sport.
